Orphan Goes Back to ?Business as Usual?

London, England ? Following a meager and disgusting meal at a slovenly set wooden table, a young orphan asked for, and received, ?some more.?

After many months of hardship, toil, and near-starvation feedings, seconds were finally granted to a disheveled and dirty eight year old. According to eye witness, the boy returned quietly to his seat, finished his meal, and worked harder than he has ever worked before, never dreaming of leaving the place of his imprisonment.

The headmaster of the orphanage admitted ?Today could be the day that child labor is changed forever. Thanks to this little boy, the future may hold fewer lashings, more food, and fewer references to ?products of sin? and the term ?children of satan?s work.?? The Headmaster added pensively, ?We may not know what the future holds for child labor, but one thing I am fairly sure of is that the young boy will never leave this orphanage, have several adventures, then be adopted by a rich man.?

Several other students described the daring request as ?a milestone.?

Following the refilling of the wooden bowl, the child returned to his normal business, and the book ended rather abruptly.
