Plasmafunk Temporarily Runs Amuck
-jeffrey
Somewhere on the Internet- Loyal Plasmafunk viewers all around the world went to www.plasmafunk.com to find nothingness this last Monday. Web hosting problems shattered the Plasmafunk website mercilessly across cyberspace.
?Holy crap. It?s just a banner ad!? Jerome Whethier shouted when he checked Plasmafunk on Monday. Many others expressed the same sentiments when they attempted to check the Monday update.
Plasmafunk decided to switch their web hosting providers and encountered troubles during the switch. The Plasmafunk Webmaster accepted most of the blame for the lack of plasmafunkery on Monday. ?I?m sorry. I don?t know what I?m doing,? he whimpered when questioned about the incident.
Fortunately, the website was back up near the end of the week, under their new web hosting provider. The website was up on a temporary site somewhere on the web, but many were unaware of such. Those who receive the e-mail updates were informed of the change, but surprisingly, there is a very small number who receive the Plasmafunk e-mail updates. Fortunately for those who have not yet signed up for e-mail updates, the process of being added has never been easier. The Plasmafunk Webmaster changed it so you just have to type in your e-mail address and hit send. For once, the Plasmafunk Webmaster did something halfway masterfully. If you wish to be added to the update list, please visit this link.
The banner ad that Jerome spoke of is no longer at the top of the Plasmafunk main page. It is only one of the many improvements under the new web-hosting plan. A myriad of new e-mail addresses now aid the Plasmafunk crew in keeping in contact with their loyal readers. A rumor has also spread that Plasmafunk might be giving away free Plasmafunk e-mail accounts to readers of the website. (yourname@plasmafunk.com)
?I got so excited when I heard that I might possibly have the chance of receiving a Plasmafunk e-mail address.? Sally Santhee beamed. ?Finally I would have the perfect e-mail address to impress all of my friends with.? Plasmafunk is still yet to make an official statement concerning the rumor.
Another recent addition to the website includes the new search engine. Now readers can be as lazy as they want and search for their favorite Plasmafunk content. ?I don?t have to shuffle through all the plasmafunkery to get to the plasmafunkery I really want,? stated Toby Bellows, quite pleased with the new search engine.
Though the Plasmafunk team hit some rough patches last week, they are quite happy with the new additions and other content they added this week. ?I think people will like the new stuff,? Jeffrey commented. ?I just hope we didn?t lose any readers from last week?s little stunt.?
